My self portrait, Hokusai style! I was very inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's woodblock print styles, especially his geisha series. I wanted the appearance that the artwork was on a scroll to add more texture to the piece and the feeling that it was not created on a computer.

Level Up Magazine Cover - This was a magazine project I created in QuarkXpress 6 while attending TCI. The project consists of a cover, a content spread, editorial spread and two departments. The type of magazine I decided to create was a video game magazine based on role playing games. This was the cover I decided to present for the project. It has a strong image and the layout was organized.

Star Trek 2007 Calendar Covers - This is a twelve month calendar featuring women from the Star Trek series. Here you can see the font and back cover of the calendar. The back cover of the calendar displays a preview of what’s inside.

Jaguar Car Design Award Certificate - This is an award certificate I created in QuarkXpress 6 while attending TCI. This a car design award presented by Jaguar Cars. A drawing of a Jaguar Car was used instead of a real image of a car to show that the award was for design concept only and not actually building the car. The award was printed on a translucent silver paper for a metallic look considering it is for designing a car.

Twin Crescent Vineyard Wine Label Layout - In this project I created a wine bottle label using QuarkXpress 6 for a class project while attending TCI. I didn’t want to go with the usual box labels so I created a curved shape for the label to put on the bottle. The image shows the layout of the labels before going onto the bottle.
